Endoscope Reprocessors with One-time Connection System - 1 Scope Capacity.
The EW 1 S Series of automatic endoscope reprocessors is designed for low-temperature washing and high-level disinfection/liquid sterilization of one flexible endoscope, two video broncho/cystoscopes, or up to three fiber broncho/cystoscopes of the major brands and models available in the market – the series allows also the treatment of rigid endoscopes. Equipped with a motorized hinged door, the devices’ compact design assures low cycle costs by minimizing water, chemicals, and energy consumption. With their integrated individual channel monitoring system, they guarantee a higher level of safety by checking the instrument connection’s flow and pressure.
Available as single door or double door pass-through versions, the EW 1 S is also available in a rack configuration having two units installed, one on top of the other in a unique frame structure. Doors are automatically actuated through a proximity sensor for a hands-free instrument loading operation. The devices are endowed with a stainless steel base for the storage of process chemicals.
RFID Hands-Free Process
Steelco ARES platform grants higher levels of safety thanks to a “hands-free” process, with RFID technology installed in pre-wash units, AERs, and drying cabinets. Traceability identification of operators and scopes is made safe with the touchless use of bracelets or badges. No need to touch the device control panel anymore, thus reducing potential cross-contamination risks and enhancing nurses’ and patients’ safety.

ARES devices are compatible with SteelcoData Ares software that ensures the complete traceability of the endoscope reprocessing process. SteelcoData Ares software is designed to meet the endoscopic room’s operational requirements by promptly tracking and providing information to maintain safety, efficiency, and high production.
Optimal Performance with Steelco Chemicals
The independently validated results achieved by the ARES flexible endoscope reprocessor range are strictly linked to the use of Steelco chemistries, which provide cost-effective rapid cycles compliant to ISO 15883-4 and ISO 14937 standards. Using non-validated chemistries contravenes standards, can compromise the cycle efficacy, and may cause damages to both the equipment and the endoscopes.

Chemicals RFID Safety
Identification of the process chemicals and registration of the lot number and expiration date. A critical safety application to make sure that only the validated chemicals will be used in order to comply with ISO 15833-4 requirements.
Dedicated EW 1 S mesh trays are compatible with Steelco ED 200 S series of drying cabinets.
The rack configuration allows the complete asynchronous reprocessing of endoscopes in two completely independent units.
Faster endoscope and operator recognition through the barcode reader option. Cycle details can be printed by the built-in thermal printer or alternatively registered in the optional SteelcoData traceability software.
OCS - One-Time Connection System
Yet another step forward to ensure endoscopes reprocessing to be fast, error-proof, and with the minimum risk of cross-contamination: the OCS One-Time Connection System, a One-Time connection system shared between prewashing, washing/disinfection, and drying/storage devices. A fast, ergonomic, and user-friendly technology that minimizes operators handling of the endoscopes in all the phases of the process, significantly decreasing the risk of cross-contamination and the possibility of human errors.

Available as a single or double door pass-through version, the rack configuration consists of two machines installed on top of each other in a unique frame structure that shares the same chemical storage compartment. This space-saving option provides the system with two asynchronous and independent chambers to maximize workflow without the delay of having to wait for a second endoscope.
