EW 2 is an automated endoscope reprocessor designed for low-temperature washing and disinfection of two flexible endoscopes, up to four video broncho/cystoscopes, or up to six fiber broncho/cystoscopes of the major brands available in the market. It also allows the treatment of rigid scopes and TEE probes with dedicated solutions.
Available as a single door or double door pass-through version, EW 2 has been developed to fully comply with EN ISO 15883-4 and incorporates all the latest innovative technologies. On this device, the identification of the process chemicals and the registration of the lot number and expiration date has been implemented – a critical safety application to make sure that only the validated chemicals will be used in order to comply with ISO 15833-4 requirements and to keep the process monitored and documented in this often neglected aspect.
Complete Endoscope Reprocessing Traceability
ARES devices are compatible with SteelcoData Ares software that ensures complete traceability of the endoscope reprocessing process. SteelcoData Ares software is designed to meet the endoscopic room’s operational requirements by promptly tracking and providing information to maintain safety, efficiency, and higher productivity.
The duodenoscope is considered one of the most challenging scopes to clean. The prevention of infection with the optimal cleaning performance of the device is essential. Our duedenoscope support, only available for some specific washing carts, helps the operator in this difficult task.

Dedicated Safe Case for TEE probes
Safe Case enables the reprocessing of TEE probes. The electrical transducer, the connection cable and the operating unit are protected in a hermetically sealed case, while the flexible tube remains exposed to the washing and high-level disinfection process.
Chemicals RFID Safety
Identification of the process chemicals and registration of the lot number and expiration date. A critical safety application to make sure that only the validated chemicals will be used in order to comply with ISO 15833-4 requirements.
Faster endoscope and operator recognition through the barcode reader option. Cycle details can be printed by the built-in thermal printer or alternatively registered in the optional SteelcoData traceability software.
