Despite being less complex than GI endoscopes, the reprocessing of ENT endoscopes is moving towards the same standards used in gastroenterology. Cardiology

TEE probes are very delicate ultrasound devices used to make detailed pictures of the heart and the arteries. Traditional manual reprocessing protocols for TEE probes do not provide optimum hygienic standards. To improve reprocessing safety and hygienic standards Steelco has developed dedicated solutions for the high-level disinfection of TEE probes.

Workflow Optimization

Centralization of endoscopy reprocessing departments indeed ensures safe and adequate workflows with a clear separation of dirty and clean areas to prevent the environmental recontamination of endoscopes. Hospitals can benefit from workflow differentiations with the possibility to integrate sterilization on the basis of each specific endoscope application (gastroenterology, urology, pneumology etc…).

The integration of endoscopes’ reprocessing in CSSD not only allows to monitor the performance of the single devices but also to track the localization and status of your sets and instruments, including endoscopes, through each stage of reprocessing, transportation, and storage.
